The first of four fall bulky waste cleanup events are scheduled for Saturday, September 17 at two locations in Fayetteville.

Crews will accept large items that are too large to fit in regular trash cans from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Holcomb Elementary, 2900 N. Salem Road, and the Recycling & Trash Collection Facility, 1560 S. Happy Hollow Road).

Residents are asked to bring a copy of a recent water bill to verify Fayetteville Residence.

There are limits to what can be accepted during cleanings.

Household hazardous waste (HHW) will not be accepted during fall events. These items, however, can be dropped off at the HHW drop-off trailer at South Happy Hollow Road and 15th Street every Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Electronic waste will be accepted on the four bulky collection dates, but only at the recycling and waste collection center.

Detailed information on what is accepted can be found on the city’s website at https://www.fayetteville-ar.gov/743/Bulky-Waste.
