The Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Policy Disclosure Act and the Campus Crime Statistics Act
The Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Policy Disclosure Act and the Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998 require the distribution of an annual safety report to all current students, faculty and staff . The annual Security Report includes statistics for the previous three years regarding reported crimes that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings, property owned or controlled by Miles College, and on public property within or immediately adjacent and accessible from campus. The report also includes institutional policies regarding campus safety, such as policies regarding alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, crime reporting, sexual assault, domestic and dating violence, harassment and fires in residential buildings on campus.

This information is provided to meet the requirements of the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Policy Disclosure Act and the Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998. It is prepared by the Department of Public Safety of the Miles College (MCDPS). Each fall, an email notification is sent to students and employees providing a link to this report.
