Apple’s new iPhone SE 3 is up for pre-order, but the device might become hard to find as we get closer to its release date later this month.
Last week, Apple finally announced the iPhone SE 3, and the cheapest flagship iPhone was pre-ordered ahead of its Friday, March 18 release date.
The company has had plenty of time to prepare for this launch, but given current supply chain issues and chip shortages, we anticipated stock shortages ahead of its arrival.
The device is still not completely sold out, but some iPhone SE 3 models have had their delivery dates pushed back to the end of March.
If you’re able to find the iPhone SE 3 model you want in stock and want your new phone ASAP, it’s probably a good idea to place an order.
And while some iPhone SE 3 variants won’t ship until the end of March or later, you might be able to find them for in-store pickup at Apple or another retailer.
Retailers will have iPhone SE 3 stock on hand this week, but it’s unclear how much inventory each store will have. It’s always a gamble, especially in this climate.
If you’re having trouble finding your best iPhone SE 3 pick in stock during the preorder period, you’ll want to track stock at Apple, carriers, and retailers to see if you can find one for pickup. If you’re persistent, you’ll probably get what you want.
In this guide, we’ll help you find an in-stock iPhone SE 3 from Apple, your carrier, or your preferred retailer. You can try calling or going to a store to find out what inventory is available, but you can simply order online where you can see an estimated delivery date.
How to find iPhone SE 3 in stock
There are several ways to quickly check iPhone SE 3 stock from your computer or phone.
Perhaps the easiest way is to check through Apple’s website or through the company’s website. Apple Store app. The website and app allow you to check the stock of each Apple Store. If you’re planning on ordering an iPhone SE 3 during the pre-order period, this is probably how you’ll want to do it.
On the app or website, choose the iPhone SE 3 model you want and enter your local zip code. The site or app will show you what’s available for in-store pickup.
Some models will likely show up as unavailable for in-store pickup soon enough. That said, we expect to see new stocks emerge in March, so you’ll want to keep your eyes peeled.
If you can’t secure the iPhone SE 3 model you want from Apple and don’t want to wait weeks for delivery, check your carrier.
At this point, you should be able to see the estimated iPhone SE 3 delivery date before proceeding to checkout. If the estimated ship date is too far away, you can try buying your phone from a retailer.
Retailers like Best Buy and Walmart can give you a much faster delivery date, even if Apple and/or the carrier’s delivery estimates are far from accurate.
If you’re planning on buying an iPhone SE 3 in March, keep all of this in mind as we move forward towards the device’s release date.
