4:39 p.m. A student reported his backpack stolen from the second floor of the Mudd Center. The backpack is a black North Face and holds a Macbook Pro, calculator, glasses, gray 15-inch laptop case, AirPods, and other miscellaneous items. A report has also been filed with the Oberlin Police Department.

5:52 p.m. Students reported that three young non-college students at the science center were loud and disruptive. Officers responded; juveniles were located and identified. Officers from the Oberlin Police Department also responded. The parents were notified and the minors were escorted out of the building.

11:59 p.m. Officers and members of the Oberlin Fire Department responded to an activated fire alarm at a Union Street housing unit. Upon entering the room in question, a strong smell of burning marijuana was detected. After checking the room for signs of burning, several cups containing ashes were located, along with marijuana, a bong, scales and a grinder. The items were confiscated and turned over to the Oberlin Police Department.

9:30 p.m. An officer observed vandalism on the wall railing in the docks area of ​​the Allen Memorial Art Museum. harmless graffiti has been written on the quay wall with purple spray paint. A work order has been filed for removal.

11:33 p.m. Custodial staff reported a bat flying around the fourth floor of the Mudd Center. An officer and a maintenance technician intervened. The maintenance technician was able to locate and remove the bat.
