The latest beta of WhatsApp brings a new user interface for contact information, options for disappearing messages, etc.

WhatsApp has been working hard when it comes to adding new features to the app, and continuing this trend of new features, the company has decided to roll out a bunch of new changes for beta users now. You now get a whole new user interface for contact information, new options for disappearing messages, improved support for multiple devices, and a few more changes.

Many of these features have already been discovered during the APK teardown, but it is only now that WhatsApp has started rolling out these features. The new changes have been spotted by WABetaInfo, and the first thing the new beta update brings is the new user interface for the contact information screen.

WhatsApp decides to add a host of new features and minor improvements to improve user experience

The disappearing messages feature is also better now, as you now have 90 days and 24 hours as an option. You can open WhatsApp, go to Settings> Account> Privacy> Default message timer, and you can select the one that works best for you.

Finally, when using the multi-device function, WhatsApp will no longer send notifications about security code changes every time the list of linked devices is updated. This improvement was introduced in the beta version of WhatsApp for Android, and is now being rolled out to more users.

All of these changes are being rolled out as part of beta, and if you’re not signed up for the WhatsApp beta, you can do so by clicking here.
